Your information
How to ask KKKT Mbezi Luis Lutheran Church to delete what it holds about you through the KKKT Mbezi Luis app, this website and the church WhatsApp number — what goes, what stays, and how long it takes.
Last updated 4 October 2026
1. Write to the parish office
Send an email, send a WhatsApp message to the church number, telephone the office, or come to the office in person. Any of the four is enough; there is no form to fill in.
2. Say what you want deleted
Either your conversations with the assistant, or your whole entry in the parish register. Say which; if you say nothing more, we take it to mean the conversations.
3. Give the telephone number you used
The register and the assistant's conversations are both found by telephone number. Without it the office cannot be sure whose record it is deleting, and will ask you for it before doing anything.
4. We confirm within 30 days
The office deletes what you asked for and tells you it is done. If something has to be kept, we say so and why, rather than leaving you to assume it was removed.
Your conversations with the assistant
Every message you sent and every answer you received, on the app, the website and WhatsApp alike — they are one thread, and the whole thread goes.
A request to speak to a person
The name, telephone number and note you gave when you asked for a pastor or an elder to call you back.
Your entry in the parish register, if you ask for it
Name, telephone number, date of birth, marital status, household, sub-parish and the groups you belong to. Asking for this is asking to be removed from the roll of members, and the office will say so before it does it.
Records of what you gave
Amount, fund and date. A church has to be able to account for the money it has received, and it cannot do that with the entries removed. These stay in the parish accounts.
Sacramental records
A baptism, a confirmation or a marriage recorded by this parish is a church record and is kept, the same way a parish has always kept its books.
Counts with no name attached
How many people came to a service, how many read a page. Nobody is identified in those figures, and removing your record does not change them.
The KKKT Mbezi Luis app has no account and no password. It keeps one thing on your phone: a random conversation number, so the assistant remembers what you asked it last time. Uninstalling the app removes that number from the phone. It does not delete the conversation held by the parish — for that, ask the office.
Deleted records can remain for a short time in the automatic backups the database provider keeps. Those copies are not read by anyone at the church and fall away on their own within 30 days of the deletion.
The KKKT Mbezi Luis app is published by KKKT Mbezi Luis Lutheran Church, Mbezi Luis, Ubungo, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
